Partnership Program for High-Quality Human Resource Training between ICTU and Next Amenity Joint Stock Company

In response to the growing demand for high-quality human resources, University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) has partnered with Work Support Y Joint Stock Company to train students for employment opportunities in Japan. This collaboration program, officially signed on October 1, 2021, aims to provide the Japanese labor market with highly skilled professionals.

Latest Updates on the Program
In early 2025, Work Support Y announced its merger and rebranding as Next Amenity Joint Stock Company, effective from March 1, 2025. Simultaneously, Mr. Hoshino Katsuya was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. This transition marks a new phase of development, reinforcing the company’s commitment to continued collaboration with ICTU.
Both parties discussed plans to advance Japanese language training, facilitate student internships, and provide employment opportunities in Japanese enterprises aligned with ICTU’s training programs. Japanese language training remains a top priority, with the goal of students achieving at least N3 proficiency before departure. Additionally, students will undergo training in professional skills, corporate culture, and workplace etiquette.

Internship Program in Japan for ICTU Students
A key agenda item was the plan to send K21 ICTU students for internships in Japan in 2025. Students will be placed in enterprises that align with their academic specializations at ICTU. The internship period is expected to commence in mid-2025. Eligibility requirements include completing the training program, meeting Japanese language proficiency standards, and possessing relevant professional skills.
Participants will receive support with visas, accommodation, and other essential procedures to ensure a smooth internship experience. This program not only provides students with practical experience but also broadens their career prospects for long-term employment in Japan after graduation.
