ICTU signs Cooperation Agreement with CTIBOOKS to enhance the quality of Chinese language education

On September 10, 2026, Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) held a cooperation signing ceremony with CTIBOOKS, an international Chinese language educational bookstore. The agreement opens up practical avenues for cooperation in learning material development, professional exchange, and lecturer training, thereby contributing to the improvement of Chinese language education and creating additional learning opportunities for ICTU students.

The representatives of ICTU, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Department of Chinese Language and Culture, and experts from CTIBOOKS attended the event. Among them were M.A. Tran Anh Chung, representative of CTIBOOKS and a member of the Translation Board for the New HSK 3.0 textbook series, and Dr. Nhu Lan Phuong, Head of the Chinese Language Department at Vietnam National University of Agriculture and a member of the Translation Board for the New HSK 3.0 textbook series.

Strengthening Learning Materials and Updating Chinese Language Teaching Methods

Under the cooperation agreement, ICTU and CTIBOOKS aim to strengthen connections between the University and the provider of Chinese language learning materials, promote professional exchange, update textbooks and teaching methods, and organize training programs for Chinese language lecturers.

Through this cooperation, ICTU lecturers and students will have greater access to modern learning materials and updated information on changes in Chinese language teaching, test preparation, and proficiency assessment. This provides an important foundation for the University to further improve teaching quality while supporting students in developing the language proficiency required for their studies and future careers.

New HSK 3.0 Training Immediately Following the Signing Ceremony

A notable feature of the program was a professional training session organized by CTIBOOKS immediately after the signing ceremony for lecturers of ICTU’s Chinese Language and Culture Division.

During the session, experts introduced the New HSK 3.0 textbook series, shared approaches to using learning materials, and discussed practical issues encountered in teaching and preparing students for the HSK examination.

The activity not only helped lecturers update their learning resources but also provided an opportunity for direct professional exchange with experts, giving them a stronger basis for selecting and applying appropriate teaching methods at the University.

Creating Practical Benefits for Learners

The cooperation agreement with CTIBOOKS further demonstrates ICTU’s commitment to creating an increasingly supportive learning environment for students. Alongside the academic curriculum, updated learning materials, enhanced lecturer expertise, and stronger connections with organizations specializing in Chinese language education will directly contribute to improving students’ learning experiences and outcomes.

For students majoring in Chinese Language, this cooperation also provides an opportunity to access new learning resources, adopt learning methods aligned with Chinese language proficiency standards, and better prepare for their studies, language certification examinations, and career development after graduation.

The signing ceremony marks the beginning of more in-depth cooperation between ICTU and CTIBOOKS in the coming period, with the shared goals of improving the quality of Chinese language education, developing lecturers’ professional capabilities, and providing ICTU students with more favorable learning conditions and opportunities.
