ICTU students won high prizes in the Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics

Recently, students Nguyen Tuan Huy – class ITK21 CLC and Nguyen Trung Hieu – class KTPM K21A won third prize in IT category for students trained in the Information Technology – Informatics major nationwide within the framework of the 33rd Vietnam Student Olympiad in Informatics & International Student Programming Contest ICPC 2024 held at Hanoi University of Industry from 11-13 December, 2024.

ICTU students had to compete fiercely with opponents majoring in Information Technology – Informatics from leading universities in the country and internationally to achieve this achievement. The competition is considered the biggest programming playground in the country, not only for IT majors but also for non-IT majors of universities nationwide, requiring candidates to have courage, extensive knowledge, and outstanding programming skills to achieve high rankings.

ICTU students have excelled over 88 competing teams from major universities in Vietnam: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Can Tho University, FPT University…, 22 specialized high schools nationwide and 08 institutions from Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand to bring ICTU into the top 3 universities winning the IT category.

With a suitable training orientation, ICTU continues affirming its position nationwide in the top universities in information technology training./.
