Division of Facilities Management

1. History of formation and development

Division of Facilities Management (formerly named Division of Equipment and Logistics Management) was established under Decision No. 216/QD-ĐHTN dated March 4, 2013 of the President of Thai Nguyen University. After 8 years of construction and development, on January 25, 2021, Division of Facilities Management was established on the basis of merging Division of Equipment and Logistics Management, a section of the Center for Laboratory Practice and a section of Information – Library Center at Decision No. 54/QD-DHCNTT&TT of the Rector of University of Information and Communication Technology.

2. Functions and tasks

Division of Facilities Management has the functions of advising and assisting the Rector in the organisation of asset management, planning, construction, equipment investment, laboratory management, and IT infrastructure management information, and ensuring physical facilities for academic activities and scientific research of the uiversity.

3. Organisational structure and staff

The division has 06 specialised sections:

– Facilities managing section

– Electricity and water managing section

– Lecture hall managing section

– Laboratory managing section

– Cleaning and landscaping section

– IT infrastructure section

In 2021, the division has 30 staff, in which there is 01 head of the division and 02 vice heads of the division. The staff of the division are enthusiastic, responsible, capable and professional to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks, contributing to the construction and development of the university.
