MoET’s Delegation Visited and Worked at ICTU

In the spirit of Resolution No. 36-NQ/TW of Political Bureau regarding accelerating the development of IT applications to meet the requirements of sustainable development and international integration, and to make use of the ODA capital from the Japanese Government in the project on enhancing education and training capacity in the field of ICT which Hanoi University of Science and Technology is the investor, on 23 October, 2014, Ministry of Education and Training sent a delegation led by Mr. Pham Hung Anh – Deputy Director of Department of Facilities & School Equipment  & Children’s Toys – MoET to survey the current conditions, orientations, the equipment needs to improve the quality of education and training at University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Viet Binh, on behalf of University Board introduced some information about the training scale, the present state of equipment, teaching facilities and investment orientations of the university in the coming years. The delegation also visited the labs, facilities scale, and campus. The members of the delegation were really impressed by the spacious scale, modern constructed buildings and landscape of a newly established university. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Pham Anh Hung asserted ensuring conditions and management capacity of the university when receiving the investment. The delegation agreed to give the highest priority to invest for ICTU. On behalf of University Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Viet Binh affirmed that he will direct the functional units of the university to submit the proposal as soon as possible to Thai Nguyen University, Ministry of Education and Training, Project Management Unit, and make commitment in management and exploitation of the equipment purposefully and efficiently when being invested.
