BKCAS: A DISTRIBUTED CONTEXT-AWARE PERVASIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM TO SUPPORT USER ROAMING

Hung Nguyen Chan, Vinh Vu Thanh, Nguyen Huu Khang, Khuong Duy, Nguyen Tan Dung, Nguyen Manh Thang

Abstract: Until, recently, the wide deployment of pervasive information system is still limited due to high cost of infrastructure, and more important, its requirement of rebuilding a new information infrastructure from cratch without reusing much from the current working system. In this study, we propose Bkhoa context-aware system (BKCAS), a novel architecture for scalable pervasive information system having the capability of intelligently routing multimedia messages to users based on the context processing. Moreover, BKCAS support user roaming over a large number of loosely coupled autonomous domains. Differ rom many other pervasive systems, which assume a completely newly built infrastructure, our approach focuses on reusing the most of  urrent infrastructure, and incrementally extend the system the most non-intrusive way in order to minimised deployment cost           International

IMAGE RAMP EDGE ENHANCING AND DENOISING BY COMPLEX NONLINEAR DIFFUSION USING CELLULAR NEURAL NETWORK.

Pham Duc Long, Pham Thuong Cat

Abstract: The studying models of complex diffusion PDEs have potential meaning in representing a sophisticated process of real world and have a lot of use in practice. In this paper we propose a two layer CNN – 2D structure for image edge enhancing and denoising by complex nonlinear diffusion. In the first part of this paper, complex PDEs and CNN’s architectures are briefly presented. In the second part the complex linear diffusion is considered. In this part we also presented a CNN model that is used for speeding up the solving of complex linear diffusion PDE in real time. In the third part, an image processing method for enhancing ramp edge and denoising by complex nonlinear diffusion CNN is given. Simulations are demonstrated in part 4 and finally some conclusions and future works are summarized.

MORPHING AND REPAIRING A 3D SCALP GEOMETRY IN BUILDING HAIR MODELS AND SIMULATION

Nguyen Van Huan, Do Nang Toan

Abstract: An important stage in building a simulation system hair material is model building. Because construction model effect of material for realistic simulation model is quality, storage, space… besides, after the hair materials model is built, we need to simulate the materials model so that it can ensure quality, the ability to control model. This paper proposed some techniques of hair materials models based on morphing 3D combined with scalp repair by 3D geometry techniques(techniques of Pushpin and relaxation techniques for surface), based on model is built, we propose techniques of hair materials simulation based materials  based on  updated control the  points on the model.

A STUDY ON P2P TRAFFIC CHARACTERISTIC

EVALUATION IN THE WIDE BACKBONE

Vu Thanh Vinh, Kensuke Fukura, Nguyen Chan Hung,

Pham Viet Binh, Ngo Hoang Giang

Abstract: In recently years, due to the increasing popularity of peer to peer (P2P) applications, such as P2P file sharing and P2P multimedia applications, P2P traffic accounts for a very high percentage of Internet traffic. As a result, P2P traffic identification is very important in network planning, security, QoS, etc. However, current P2P applications have the ability to disguise their existence through the use of arbitrary ports or payload encryption. Thus, using only payload method or statistics method is not effective for identification of P2P traffic. To increase the accuracy of P2P traffic identification, we have developed the new method which combines Port method with Payload method and flow Timeout feature, namely PPT. Our method can increase the P2P traffic detection process up to 100% in comparison with traditional methods. Using the new method, we evaluate the characteristics of P2P traffic in the WIDE (Widely Integrated Distributed Environment) backbone, the trans-Pacific backbone connect Japan and North America.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT OF CHORD, DISTRIBUTED HASH TABLE UNDER HIGH CHURN RATE

Giang Ngo Hoang, Hung Nguyen Chan, Vinh Vu Thanh, Khang Nguyen Van, Thu Le thi Xuan, Thang Nguyen Manh

Abstract: Structured peer-to-peer (P2P) networks is becoming popular for their advantages of high scalability and good performance. These networks are based on the Distributed Hash Tale or DHT mechanism to establish and maintain a certain topology. However, while adopting structured P2P network for wireless environment, one have to deal with the phenomenon of frequent join and leave of mobile nodes, namely churn. In this study, we focus on modification of Chord, a well-known DHT protocol, in order to improve its performance under high churn rate. We adopt the atomic ring maintenance mechanism to mitigate the effect of churn over lookup consistency and successfully implement this mechanism in OverSim simulator. Our simulation showed significant performance improvement of the modified Chord protocol under high churn rate in wireless environments.
