ICTU welcomed and worked with VIHATEC delegation

23 Oct, 2018 –  The delegation of Vientiane – Hanoi Friendship Technical – Vocational College, Lao PDR (VIHATEC) led by Mrs. Nivone Moungkhounsavath – Principle paid a working visit to University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU).

As for ICTU, Dr. Nguyen Van Tao – Rector, Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Vice Rector and representatives of leaders of departments and faculties welcomed and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Tao expressed his warm welcome to the visit of VIHATEC delegates as well as affirmed the good relations between Vietnam and Laos in general and ICTU – VIHATEC in particular. Dr. Nguyen Van Tao wished that VIHATEC teachers would create the most favorable environment for students, especially Lao students studying in ICTU. Dr. Nguyen Van Tao appreciated VIHATEC’s long-term cooperation and hoped that in the near future, this relationship woul be further developed, aiming at the sole goal of benefiting students’ work and study.

An overview of the meeting

Since the two institutions have signed MOUs in 2013, VIHATEC has sent nearly 100 Lao students to study at ICTU affirming the strong relationship of two units in the field of high quality human resource training.
