ICTU students took part in Vietnam Design Contest 2014

Vietnam Design Contest 2014 launched by Texas Instruments Company is held every year. This contest is to promote creativity in designing systems of microcontroller chips of students from universities and colleges nationwide. By using the main processors ARM MSP430 or Cortex-M3 of TI, each team can write any programs of creative functions for desired electronic devices on patterned MCU board, or can design their own hardware and software products. Besides the opportunity to apply professional knowledge to practice, students can develop their presentation skills in English and defend their topics before the jury. Being co-organized by three prestigious universities, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (in Northern region), Danang University of Science and Technology (in Central region) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (in Southern region), the contest is expected to encourage students to bring technological applications closer to and serve the lives of people in Vietnam.

Being directed and received the attention of University Board, this year, Faculty of Electronics and Communications Technology sent three teams to take part in the contest.
