ICTU & JAIST – Continuing intensive cooperation

Upon the agreement of both institutions, ICTU and JAIST will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and implement various intensive cooperation activities in the coming time.

On May 12, ICTU had a work meeting with the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) with the participation of the ICTU Board, JAIST delegation, representatives of the Division of Science-Technology and International Cooperation, leaders of the Institute of International Training and representatives of the Faculty of Information Technology.

During the meeting, the two institutions discussed signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and international cooperation activities in the coming time. Accordingly, the two sides agreed on the process and procedures for signing the MOU and implementing several activities in the future time, such as operating the internship program with financial support for ICTU’s excellent third and fourth-year students, JAIST scientists presenting papers at the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICTA 2023), co-organizing the ICTA 2023 sessions, organizing seminars on the topics of the common research directions of the two sides in online or face-to-face modes for staff and students, and organizing short-term classes on contemporary research issues.

With absolute consent, the intensive development cooperation between ICTU and JAIST will certainly achieve positive and impressive results in the coming time.
