ICTU welcomed a delegation from Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU)

On September 22–23, 2025, ICTU warmly welcomed a delegation from the School of Science and Technology under Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). The visit marked a valuable opportunity for both institutions to share experiences, foster international collaboration in technology and education, and further expand ICTU’s global network of engagement.
The HKMU delegation comprised 16 members, led by Dr. Hung King Fai Kevin – Head of Department of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, and Dr. Shirley Chen – Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, along with other distinguished lecturers and outstanding students. Representing ICTU were Dr. Do Dinh Cuong – Vice Rector, leaders of functional divisions and faculties, and more than 40 students from various disciplines, including those from the 24th intake of the Bachelor of Arts in English in Communication program, and members of the organizing team.

The two parties organized an academic seminar between ICTU and HKMU, which is a space for lecturers and students of the two institutions to share their experiences in teaching, learning, and research in the fields of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.
The working visit took place in a lively atmosphere with many meaningful activities. On the morning of September 22, HKMU delegation visited ICTU’s campus and its modern laboratory system – a place that effectively serves training and scientific research. In the afternoon, the two parties continued with the academic seminar.
Especially, on the morning of September 23, the student exchange program at Nam Phuong Camp – Nui Coc Lake brought many memorable moments. Students of the two institutions participated in group activities, shared cultures, and exchanged creative ideas in a friendly, connected, and energetic atmosphere.

The event not only enabled lecturers and students from both universities to learn from each other but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations, including joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs. It also provided ICTU students with a valuable opportunity to enhance their language skills, broaden their international outlook, and improve their global competence.
With its strategic vision of educational internationalization, ICTU places great emphasis on building partnerships with prestigious universities worldwide. The collaboration program with HKMU once again demonstrates ICTU’s strong commitment to offering a dynamic, diverse, and high-quality learning environment, while reinforcing its position in the regional and international academic community.
