Delegation of Government Inspectorate Visited and Worked at ICTU

In the afternoon of 24 October, 2014, a delegation led by Dr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Director General cum Director of Information Center under the Portal of Government Inspectorate, paid a visit and surveyed the current state of the IT-applying model at University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU). Joining the delegation, there was also Mr. Nguyen Nghia Bien – Former Director General of Department of Planning – Finance, Director of Forest Inventory and Planning Institute, Vietnam Administration of Forestry and some leaders of the two agencies.

On behalf of University Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Viet Binh briefly reported the information about the university, such as the training scale, the training majors, achievements in scientific research and technology transfer and development orientations. In the end of working time, the representatives of the delegation and leaders of ICTU agreed to develop a cooperation plan between ICTU, Forest Inventory and Planning Institute and the Portal of Government Inspectorate to build and deploy the project on applying ICT in forest managing and planning.
