Delegates from International Development and Technical Institute (IDTI) – United States visited and worked at ICTU
On 25 July, 2016 the delegation from the International Development and Technical Institute (IDTI) – the United States started the one-week visit to ICTU.

To welcome and work with the delegate and represent the university leaders, there was Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Deputy Secretary of the ICTU party, Vice Rector as well as the faculty members of departments and divisions. In particular, in the meeting there also had been the participation of teachers from secondary schools, high schools in the Thai Nguyen province, and faculty members of the University.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation between IDTI and ICTU, and deployed training courses for English teachers of secondary schools, high schools in the province and in Thai Nguyen University. Accordingly, 11 faculty m
embers IDTI had trained English teachers and lecturers during the period from 25 to 29 July, 2016 at ICTU. The content of training courses to enhance English proficiency and innovate teaching methods for teachers of English. Specifically, some lectures were “Use of language and cultural events in the teaching of English”, “Techniques in writing, conversation, and pronunciation”, and “Using technology in teaching English”.

This is a precious opportunity for teachers, lecturers teaching English subject to accumulate more knowledge and improve English skills and teaching methods. With 100% native teachers who are knowledgeable about Vietnamese culture and curriculum used entirely in English, the training course brought more rewarding experience for all participants at ICTU.
