ICTU successfully organized International Student Exchange Program “Colourful ICTU 2025”
On the evening of August 01, 2025, ICTU successfully organised the annual international student exchange program “Colourful ICTU 2025,” attracting enthusiastic participation from a large number of Vietnamese and international students currently studying and interning at the university.
This is the second time the program has been held, following the success of last year’s edition, and it has become one of the significant events in ICTU’s series of activities promoting international integration.
A convergence of multicultural nuances at the program
A multicoloured and emotion-filled evening
Attending the event were Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Vice Rector of ICTU, representatives of functional offices and academic faculties, the ICTU Student Union, and notably, a delegation of experts from the International Development and Technical Institute (IDTI), USA.
The program brought together more than 100 students and interns from 11 countries across three continents, including the United States, South Korea, India, Germany, Slovakia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Laos, and Cambodia – all joining together in a vibrant space filled with cultural diversity and a spirit of unity.
International friends experience the unique cultural charm of Vietnam
Engaging activities such as traditional folk games, nhảy sạp (bamboo pole dance), language exchange, Vovinam martial arts performances, and both traditional and contemporary musical acts created a vivid multicultural tapestry, connecting Vietnamese students with their international friends through sincere and warm interactions.

With the participation of over 100 international students and interns, “Colourful ICTU 2025” was not only an occasion for cultural exchange but also a bridge that helped shorten distances, foster understanding, and promote respect for differences. Young people had the chance to converse, learn, and share about their countries, traditions, languages, and aspirations, forming close friendships that transcend borders.
The program stands as a testament to ICTU’s ongoing efforts to build a globalised and diversified educational environment where students develop not only professionally but also in communication skills, intercultural thinking, and the ability to work in a multicultural setting.
