ICTU welcomes international experts from the United States: Advancing modern teaching methodologies for the English in Communication undergraduate program
ICTU recently welcomed a delegation of international experts from the International Development and Technical Institute (IDTI), USA, including Mr. Mark Nelson, Dr. Feridoon Yusefzadeh, and Dr. Matt Gibson. With extensive experience in language education and international communication, the experts brought to ICTU practical insights and modern teaching methodologies, inspiring new approaches in pedagogy and shaping the orientation for specialised training programs.
As part of their working program, the experts conducted a series of thematic seminars for lecturers in the English Department at ICTU. Key topics included: Coaching – Grow Model; Pedagogy of mastering the skills of writing, Designing for impact: Building a capstone project that prepares students for the real world; and Preparing and presenting in English with clarity and confidence.
The seminar series serves as a strategic preparation for the launch of the Bachelor of English Language – English in Communication major at ICTU, starting in the 2025–2026 academic year. The program is designed with an applied orientation, integrating linguistic knowledge with modern communication skills to meet the growing demand for high-quality human resources in global integration.
Students pursuing the English Language program at ICTU will have direct access to international experts, be equipped with personal development thinking based on modern coaching models, strengthen their academic writing skills for study and advanced research, practice designing and executing communication projects aligned with real-world job requirements, and develop a professional English presentation style – enhancing their competitive advantage in the global labor market.
