ICTU delegation paid a working visit to higher education institutions in China

From July 3 to July 7, 2023, ICTU paid a working visit to study the organizational models of some higher education institutions and experience Chinese culture and history.

The delegation with the presence of members of the ICTU Party Committee, ICTU Council, ICTU Board, and leaders of specialized faculties, divisions and unions under the university was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Trung Nghia – ICTU Rector.

During the business trip, the delegation received a warm welcome from the Board of Directors of Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET), Guangxi Province, represented by Ms. Nie Hui – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Guilin University of Electronic Technology. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation on a number of strategic contents.

Some of the strategic cooperation programs in the coming time include the joint training program based on 2+2 and 3+1 models offering dual degrees for students and related programs, the one-semester or one-year exchange program for undergraduate students, staff and lecturer exchange, cooperation in implementing research projects and other joint projects and sharing scientific research information and teaching materials. In addition, the two sides agreed to co-organize international conferences, seminars and scientific seminars.

In the spirit of practical cooperation, it is expected that ICTU will create many learning and development opportunities for learners and lecturers in the coming time.
