Exchange meeting on introduction of studying and employment opportunities in japan
Student employment after graduation is always the first concern of universities. In close and friendly cooperation with Yokohama Automotive Technology College (YTC) and Yokohama Design College (YDC), the Management Board of the University has invited officials who are from the YTC, and YDC to introduce to the final year students about scholarships and employment opportunities in Japan on Friday afternoon (04/25/2014).

Meeting participants included: Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Vice Rector of the University, lecturers of all faculties and divisions at the University and all K8, K9 students; Representatives of YTCand YDC: Mr. Shimura Nobou – Head of International Cooperation Division of YDC; Mr. Kurushima Isao – Vice Rector of YTC.
During the meeting, Mr. Shimura Nobou and Mr. Kurushima Isao introduced learning opportunities, applying for jobs in Japanese businesses, and necessary soft skills for employment. The teachers provided students with much new information about the Japanese enterprises, and human resource demand in Japan invested in Vietnam. The teachers also informed specifically about the time of enrolment, school fees, and time of each major for students to understand clearly. Students and teachers had lively exchanges to get more information about the YTC, YDC as well as the port city of Yokohama and Japan.
Ending the meeting, on behalf of the Management Board of the University, Dr.Vu Duc Thai thanked the teachers who come from YDC and YTC, and also hope that not only students this year, but also in the following courses students will be updated their study abroad program. Through this activity, the University wants to give students the opportunity to choose and continue to improve their knowledge and look for jobs.
