ICTU welcomed and worked with the delegates from Gumi University, South Korea

On the morning of August 24, 2018, the delegation from Gumi University, South Korea, including Prof. Young Gil Seo – Head of International Cooperation and Mr. Seok Keun Yu – Manager of International Cooperation Department visited and worked at the University of Information and Communications Technology (ICTU). Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Vice Rector as well as representatives of the ICTU leaders and departments and faculties hosted Gumi delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Vu Duc Thai welcomed the visit and work of the delegation from Gumi University, South Korea and hoped that the cooperation between the two universities would be further developed in the future in the field of exchanging of students, updating the advanced training programs from Gumi University, and forming joint research teams on issues of mutual interest.

After that, Dr. Vu Duc Thai introduced ICTU, and representatives from Gumi University also introduced Gumi University, training programs and cooperation potentials in the future. At the meeting, the two sides discussed student exchange, credits exchange, lecturer exchange, and overseas study in South Korea. Next, representatives of the two universities gave their souvenirs to each other. This was the second time Gumi University has visited and worked at ICTU, marking a new turning point in the relationship between the two institutions, opening opportunities for cooperation, and improving the quality of training in the current trend.
