From 8 to 11 September 2019, the Delegation of the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) led by Dr. Nguyen Van Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Trung Nghia, Head of Academic Affairs; MSc. Duong Thi Hong An, Vice Head of Science, Technology and International Cooperation visited and worked at some educational institutions in Laos and Thailand.

During the visit, the delegation worked with 04 educational institutions in Laos and Thailand including Settha College of Business Administration, College of Vientiane Development, Vientiane – Hanoi Technical & Vocational Friendship College, and Nong Bualamphou College.
The ICTU delegation discussed with partners in Laos on the cooperation direction to build up a training program of 3 + 2 in Information Technology, Office Administration, E-Commerce and Management Information System. To deploy the cooperation in the future, Dr. Nguyen Van Tao represented the University to sign two cooperation documents with a new partner, Settha College of Business Administration and Vientiane Development College, focusing on improving the effectiveness of training cooperation. With partners in Thailand, the ICTU delegation also exchanged directions on the implementation of short-term cultural and internship exchange programs for students in Vietnam and Thailand.
